Our managing directors, Dr. Stefan Hoffmann and Gerald Wenzel, combine their knowledge of technology and finance for our projects. They are supported and complemented by a strong team consisting of software development, project management, sales, communications, HR, IT-Ops, and customer success.
Dr. Stefan Hoffmann is a problem solver and technology expert at tracekey, thanks to his extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Gerald Wenzel brings over 20 years of expertise as a supply chain and financial manager, specifically in the electronics industry.
Short Company History
tracekey was founded in 2013 in Bochum-Langendreer. Just one year later, the High-Tech-Gründerfonds recognized the potential of our pharma serialization solution and has been a shareholder in our company ever since. The multinational consulting company BearingPoint has also been our shareholder since 2015 as an expert for RegTech and Supply Chain Management.
Driven by deep industry expertise, we have been developing innovative solutions for the pharmaceutical sector for many years. As regulatory demands across healthcare continue to grow, we expanded our focus in 2021 to include medical technology—broadening our impact and supporting even more stakeholders with reliable, future-ready tools.
